  Sheriff Martinez and the local courts have failed to bring justice to the man that beat my elderly father. My father who is suffering from cancer and had just had heart surgery, tried to ask his neighbor to turn down a recording that this man had made. After all it was around 8pm and it was over a PA, the recording was of all the dogs barking in the neighborhood, ya this guy is a real piece of work. My father went over and when he got there he noted that the man was very drunk. The beating started and my Mother called 911 (you cant lie that away Martinez) and went over to try and stop the beating. MY Father suffered a dislocated jaw, injury to the neck from repeaded blows to the side of the head, and other injurys. After this person beat up my Dad he also started to beat my Mom (thats a real man for you) for asking him to stop beating on my Father. The sheriff deputies showed up after another neighbor was brave enough to step in and stop the beating (thank you). The deputies called the sheriff and asked what he wanted done (i hope that is not standard procedure) and the sheriff said to do nothing. Nothing is what they did, no arrest was made, no report filed, nothing. My Mother had to call and file the report the next day after she called to get information about the incident and nobody new what she was talking about.I really hope you can elect a sheriff that is not either corrupt, or lazy, or what ever your current sheriff has been up to. Oh andd because no arrest was made they cant get a restraining order from the courts, thanks Sheriff. Keep up the shameful work and heres hoping to a new sheriff.
